Meet Mrs. Love
Hello! I'm Nora Love. I am so happy to be your 6th grader's ELA teacher! 6th grade is such an exciting journey. I love working with students as they develop their unique passions and personalities!
I began teaching bilingual 4th grade in Austin, Texas. Then, my husband, Matt, and I moved to Colorado where I taught bilingual 4th and 5th grade and earned a Master's Degree in Bilingual Special Education from the University of Colorado, Boulder. When we finished our Master's degrees, Matt and I moved to Silver City, New Mexico. I began teaching at Jose Barrios in 2008 in a special education classroom. Since then I have taught 5th grade and worked as a district instructional coach. I am very excited to return to the classroom as a 6th grade teacher! I love the Jose Barrios community: the students, families, and staff truly form a special little school where we are committed to valuing and loving all children.
